Make the web for everyone

Thought I’d catalog the article that led me to my current blogging service: Blot.

This is wonderful writing on a very well designed site; a great experience. But also makes me think how blogs and most of reputable internet writing are made by tech enthusiasts. So if you read the “independent” internet regularly, you’re automatically in a filter bubble. Technology needs to be not only easy to use for everyone, but also needs to be wanted to be used by all walks of life. I want to learn from people who only use a computer a couple times a week or month or less. Which I understand I probably won’t learn from on a computer. We want different things from technology—none of which are bad, it just is a different means to different (or similar) goals.
